Each Babette Holland piece begins as a simple aluminum circle. In the hands of a Master Spinner, it rocks and spins in a lathe until what remains is a beautiful form. Multiple layers of transparent, metallic-based finishes are applied so that the form, in light, shimmers like silk and jewels. Babette Holland Design, located in Brooklyn, NY, designs and finishes new modern American aluminum lighting and home accessories.
